Congratulations go out to the Canadian “YOLO Racing Team” on their spectacular accomplishment in finishing the “BAJA1000” this year. Only 185 teams finished out of 328 competitors. The YOLO team endured a very hot and rough course and after 1000 miles and 27hrs – 52 Minutes of hard driving they accomplished what no Canadian Team has ever done, they came in 3rd Place this year. Drivers Erich Reisen and Ross Burden and Team “stated we are very proud to represent Canada, with our Canadian flag Logo on our car which ran just fantastic. We had no issues with the motor or the overheating problem that many other racers had.

NitroLube played a big part in the endurance of our Race Car. We also used NitroLube 15w40 in all our support vehicles and had great success.”

Congratulation to the 2009 MISSION RACEWAY Winners. Another great year of racing closed with an awards banquet where all the 2009 award recipients were crowned and awarded their trophies.

Congratulations to NitroLube Team member Gerald Patzer on winning the Regional Division 6 Championship and National Open Drag Racing titles for 2009.

Gerald’s Grand-Am performed with style and consistence all year in the Compact and Sportsman Classes in the North West Region racing series. Gerald commented,

” NitroLube sure makes a difference in my race cars performance….I have the NitroLube Racer’s Edge.”

Tyson Wells the fastest 8 second 1965 VW from Chilliwack closed the Racing season with a record winning run to Win the DoorSlammer Class.

Tyson came up against some top competition from the USA and Canada at Mission Raceways, this his rookie year at Missionraceways . Tyson’s excellent driving and Crew Chief ..Norm Wilson’s awesome engine building skills showed that it can be done. Tyson had some record breaking weekends this year and as he said,

“it takes team work and many hours working on the cars performance that makes it all come together in 8 seconds and NitroLube is part of that performance”.

NitroLube would like to congratulate Rookie Race Car sensation Stefan Rzadzinski of Alberta.

This past weekend at Mosport International Raceway, Stefan concluded his season in the 2009 Ontario Formula Ford Challenge.

Although finishing the race in 3rd position, this amazing 16 years old clinched the Rookie of the Year title and Ontario Formula Ford Challenge Championship Runner-Up.

His racing future looks very bright.

Another great success for the 2nd Annual Children’s Charities Grand Prix at Mission Raceway this past weekend. Thousands of dollars were raised for the children and enjoyable racing for all those who attended. Donations of $20. would give you a ride in a luxury car around the track with a professional driver.
NitroLube wishes to thank the BMW Store, Bank of Nova Scotia, Children’s Wish, Children Hospital Foundation and many other Children Charity sponsors for making us part of this wonderful event.

Lordco and NitroLube teamed up this year for another successful 2009 Langley Cruise-In with 100,000 people from around the world coming to the event and dropping by our Main Street Booth to say hello and tell us stories about their success using NitroLube products.

We had visitors from England, Mexico, Costa Rica, Australia, the Middle East and from the USA.
Mr. Winfield from the famous Winfield Equipment Company, USA stopped by as did Driver Randy Pierce from the Golden Hawk Land Speed vehicle and many others.

NitroLube would like to congratulate the Golden Hawk Canadian World Land Speed Team on their attempt at setting a world record this past week at the Bonneville Flats, Utah, USA.
NitroLube is proud to be part of the team as the Lubricant supplier for the Golden Hawk Cummins Turbo Diesel engine vehicle. Randy Pierce Team Leader/Driver commented:

NitroLube would like to congratulate the Allen Berg Racing School on a very successful week at Mission Raceway, Mission B.C.
What a professional team operation. The excellent classroom information and the practical road racing training is second to none. It was a delightful experience for all the participants including future Asia circuit driver Justin Kao, who took advantage of the school to hone his skills while it was here in British Columbia this week.
There was a trace of rain but the weather co-operated for most of the week. All participants enjoyed themselves with some exhilarating speeds and a great deal of fun and excitement.
Hopefully in the near future the Allen Berg Racing School will consider operating another branch of their excellent school in British Columbia.
