AUGUST 2025-UPDATES

Another great season at the Mission Track…. The new Vega with 750hp had a fantastic season…. The team had done two runs….the first and second run with C12 fuel was clocked at 9.86 for the ¼ mile on regular synthetic oil. On the third run they added a couple of ounces of NitroLube “ Octane Boost”  and a 250mL NitroLube “Friction Modifier” ….the car lowered it’s time and ran a 9.74 and gained 6 Hp more… The driver said She felt the difference in the extra power boost.  But the winner was Little 8year old Alexa’s Dragster that ran some awesome numbers.

Hello my name is Damian Cownden
3 time CMDRA and 1 time WHRA Champion in Canada.  We have used NITROLUBE products and especially the NitroRed grease for nearly 15 years.  For many years prior to discovering the NITROLUBE “NitroRed” grease we struggled with rocker arm failures. We like most teams in our class only use grease in the top end for lubricant prior to fire up. The abuse in this application with up to 100% pure nitro is violent to say the least.   This grease has saved us countless failures and given us unbelievably reliability.  6.24sec. in the quarter mile track which is still the current ET Record for a Canadian on a Top Fuel Harley. We have run in excess of 230 mph/370Km.
